G-HILZ.co.uk - the story of our RV-8

RV Formation School - November and December 2008

November saw bad weather and we didn't manage to meet at North Weald on either Saturday or Sunday. We did get 3 local aircraft (G-HILZ, G-CSPR and G-RVDG) together at White Waltham on Saturday afternoon for a quick practise though and introduced a new instructor to our group at the same time.

Better weather for December though! Despite some water-logged strips and a round of colds and illness, 10 students came for the day and we managed 24 sorties. Well done to all, especially John Fisher for making it all the way from Haverfordwest on almost the shortest day of the year.
Here's a selection of photos from the day taken by Doc, who hopes to join us as pilot not photographer soon! There are some more here.
