The project starts with the empennage kit, which teaches you about metal work and rivetting. We started off knowing very little about these, but luckily we had another RV builder / teacher in the next village - thanks John! This was a slow start as we were learning, but we quickly picked up the necessary skills. Once complete, we put the empennage into 'storage', went skiing and when we returned home,the fuselage and wings were due to arrive in just a few days to keep us busy for many months...
