G-HILZ.co.uk - the story of an RV8

Building

We are lucky to have a large double garage at home and plenty of space. This made life much easier! First though, we needed to empty the garage. All the rubbish was put in a skip and we then washed down the walls and carpeted the floor. This might sound like a luxury, but it was recommended to us and does make it slightly more comfortable when kneeling / lying on the floor whilst working on the areoplane.
Now the garage is more or less empty and the car might get the luxury of a carpeted garage - or may just stay outside!
